How do I Get Rid of Cellulite? The Million Dollar Questions

It seems odd that a condition such as cellulite which affects as much as 90% of women has been painted out to be such a stigma. I mean not for all women, but for the majority they’re very self conscious about how their legs look. The cottage cheese look of the dimples causes them to never wear shorts, go to the beach or even wear skirts for some.

So what if you’re one of those women who wants to get rid of it? You’re sick and tired of allowing cellulite to dictate certain parts of your wardrobe and activities so you’re ready to say good bye to dimples. All right, now we’re getting some where this is what more women should think. If you’re not going to accept it then take steps to combat cellulite.

On this blog I’m going to share with you insight into getting rid of cellulite naturally, with topical treatments and with treatment methods you’d have done by a professional. Different methods work better for some people then others so before you rush to try one alternative be sure you understand all your options.

In this first post we’ll look at a combination method of reducing the look of cellulite dimples using both exercise and a topical treatment such as Revitol cellulite cream.

Exercises for Cellulite

Don’t worry I’m not going to tell you to walk 10 miles a day to get rid of cellulite. Actually as luck may have it walking or jogging isn’t the most effective method to reduce cellulite dimples on your legs. You want to concentrate on exercises that work those muscles in the areas where your cellulite is the worst.

Here are a few ideas for such exercises: Step aerobics, stair climber machines, jumping rope

You don’t have to do just one or all of these. In fact I’d suggest mixing and matching these types of work outs each week and try to get in about 4 workouts a week if possible. These exercises will begin to shape and tone the muscles in your legs. This will in turn sculpt the look of your thighs and buttocks. The stronger those muscles the firmer your skin will appear and the less likely it is you’ll see any sign of cellulite dimples.

The Drawbacks

It takes a while for exercise to how results when fighting cellulite. The alternatives are then to use a topical treatment along with exercise so results appear quicker.

Topical Creams

Anti cellulite creams, gels and lotions are developed to produce similar results to exercise but by using key ingredients to produce that toned and smooth look on your legs rather then working out hard to get it.

The key ingredient in most products is Caffeine. It is absorbed by the skin quickly and stimulates blood flow to the area. This brings with it nutrients and opens the metabolic pathways of your body to help get rid of dimples.

Of course using a cellulite cream only isn’t the best decision because you’ll be forced to use it forever. The results done by cosmetic and skin care products aren’t permanent they’re only temporary until you stop using the cream.

The best Combination

Start an exercise routine with exercises like those we discussed above. Use a topical cellulite treatment like Revitol or Cellex-C for the first couple of months to jump start your results. Once you begin to see tone and firmness in your legs from exercising you can slack off with the cellulite cream. This is probably one of the best 1-2 punches to battle cellulite available.
